To reset the “Change Engine Oil Soon” light in a 2013 Chevy Malibu, start the car, then scroll through the Driver Information Center (DIC) using the steering wheel thumbwheel controls until you see the Remaining Oil Life percentage. Hold down the thumbwheel until it prompts you to reset the oil life, then select “yes”. The Remaining Oil Life percentage will then show as “100%”.

1. Start the Car: Turn on the ignition.

Manuelly : open the the ignition/ open the engine light, , do not turn on/start the vehicle, after you turn on the engine light on, press and pump the accelerator pedal 3 times, then turn on/start the car, the engine oil soon display will go off.
